Default Saving a rosebush from a dog

My neighbor's dog relieves himself at least twice a day on my rosebush! The poor little thing is already diseased and scrawny. Any suggestions are welcome!

You may not like my suggestion but I guarantee it'll work!
Shoot the dog in the arse with a BB gun!!!
Another thing I have heard works is mothballs, spread mothballs out around the bush, I know cats hate them, and Have heard dogs dont like them either!

But I still ultimatly suggest the BB's!!!

Haha! As much as I'd enjoy trying that, I think his owners would return the favor with something a little less harmless...

I can give mothballs a try though!

Check with your local pound, I know in my county, if anothers animals come into my property and the owners will not stop the animal from doing so it is within my legal right to BB them!!!

Rather than a bb gun maybe you could try a water hose or spray bottle with something offensive in it to dissuade the dog from even wanting to come to your poor little rosebush. Plus, the owner will tire very quickly of having a wet dog and try to prevent it as well.

I personally would go with the bb gun.

Yeah baby, you know dogs HATE, HATE, HATE the smell of vinegar!!! Get a spray bottle with white distilled vinegar in it, and spray him with it!! He will hate it but it will make his coat nice and clean

Well, the dog's on a leash when this happens, so I can't really walk up to it and spray with our stupid neighbor right there...

Would spraying it on/around the bush work?
